Sorry it wasn't my intention to offend those who like seeing Holmes and Waston in a homosexual way... I'm ok with it but never been keen on fictional platonical friendships (the other obvious one being Kirk and Spock) being assumed to have some need to be defined romantically or words to that effect. If you do like that then power to you, it's just that I'm hetrosexual and seeing good friends in fiction in this sort of way can possibly offend me as much as my comment may have done to those who do. My answer is not to read them really.

What I shouldn't have said was 'Ugh', so apologies for that one. I reckon that as adults here we should be able to have our own feelings whilst respecting the views of others, but that was a tad far so I apologise for it.
