Ah, another one of those books I had but gave away. :-) Funny, I can remember that it had the Brig enlisting the Master (and Ian, yes?), but clearly the awesome of that entirely erased any memory of plot/villains etc from my mind because even now you say it the Inferno connection rings no bells. Anyway, it would be a bit early for anyone other than Crichton to be involved. :-p
