And the TARDIS lands...

It's well past time for another discussion post, and I thought I'd re-run the crossover one we had many moons ago, because time moves on and people discover ad new TV shows/books etc, and it is one of the delights of fan fiction, after all. Crossing fandoms is one thing that can only rarely be done by the sources themselves. And Doctor Who with its simple go-anywhere, anytime premise is built for the possibility more than most TV shows.

So, what crossover fanfic would you love to see? What is there not enough of, or not with the Doctor/companion you'd have gone for?

I'm with several other people I know in waiting for the first Downton Abbey/Doctor Who crossover. (Don't people realise that Violet is just waiting for her chance to fight off some aliens?)

What do you all think? (As ever, any suggestions in the comments below will be added to the ever-growing list of prompts.)

OMG Doctor Who is wonderful for crossovers (cough, I would say that, wouldn't I). But really, you don't even need to think too much of how the two universes work together - I mean, it's DW! He can just show up there :D

There can never be enough Doctor Who/ Big Bang Theory crossovers. Also, DW/ Labyrinth. And I have to say that I think DW/Labyrinth would probably work best with Moffat's Who. It's all fairytale logic!

You... don't know Labyrinth? But Jim Henson puppets! David Bowie! Cheesy 80s... everything! ... You need to watch it. Unless you're averse to muppets and other puppets.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm. They may actually be more Fraggle Rock-ish than Muppet-ish.... plenty of muppets there are goblins. So this might not be for you after all :(

Definitely not bright pink and yellow. And the dog is most certainly not sinister! He's very friendly and helpful.

...Although David Bowie's crotch is somewhat terrifying.
