Doctor Who/Lord of the Rings x-over

Username: [livejournal.com profile] persiflage_1
Era (if any): Tenth Doctor
Characters/Pairings (if any): Tenth Doctor, Martha Jones, Legolas the Elf
Plot Bunny Summary: We suspect, from the end of "Blink", that Martha Jones possesses archery skills. The plot bunny says she learned them from Legolas the Elf during an earlier trip to Middle Earth, and that Ten was very jealous of Martha learning from Legolas not himself, and thus made random cracks about Legolas' prettiness to Martha by way of venting his feelings.
Any Other Notes: The idea for this came from a Twitter conversation with my friend [livejournal.com profile] abstruse_fangrl who's watching the Lord of the Rings movie marathon that's being aired in the US at the moment. (She suggested that Ten makes cracks about Legolas' hair, and I expanded that). And since I am a Ten/Martha shipper, I'd like some shippiness but I'm not asking for x-rated fic here!

I was just glancing back through the old prompts as I updated the comm - and suddenly realised that I would see this one in a completely different light now. :-D (I'm sure you can work out why.)

The [admittedly minscule] chances of me ever writing LOTR/DW fic have just been increased a bit.

*v amused*

Yes, how DID you guess? ;-D

It would of course be far better with the R4 cast!! (Not that I am at all biased or anything. Well, all right, so I AM biased...)
