ERA: Er, this is rather complicated. Ten era... sort of. Ten definitely features, though. The Timey-Whimey-ness of this request is headache inducing but stories that cause brain implosions timeline wise seem to be my favourite.
CHARACTERS:
Ten - Anytime before End of Time, or even some unsaid (or said) fix it. The author has full creative license.
Jack - After being made immortal. Actual point after in his personal history is up to the author
River - After she is "Professor" River Song is okay.
Amy & Rory, Brian Williams - After Dinosaurs on a Ship, before The Angels Take Manhattan
PAIRINGS:
Ten/River/Jack (OT3)
Amy/Rory
PLOT BUNNY SUMMARY:
I have this addiction to "After the Whump" whump like there is nothing else (can't you tell, lol?) and I'd like to see this scene laid out:
Ten has been critically injured up to the point of regenerating but for the sake of preserving the series timeline, he isn't going to. He's been injured critically, needs care, etc. River has been injured, but conscious enough to get them all into the medbay on the TARDIS, but too injured to do much else (maybe a leg injury or something to affect mobility), and as per usual Jack has died and come back but using Sahiya's methodology behind it when he comes back it's usually when consciousness can be supported and him out of immediate danger but it doesn't mean he isn't a bit banged up and is in need of TLC too.
River has pleaded to the TARDIS to take the three of them someplace safe, and someplace where friends can help them.
Considering it's River and the Doctor (and Jack), the TARDIS takes them to Amy and Rory and in Amy & Rory's timeline it's sometime after Dinosaurs on a Spaceship so an appearance by a concerned Brian Williams would be fantastic too.
OTHER NOTES:
I got the idea from Sahiya's absolutely incredible story here, which is where the idea came from. Not looking for a re-write of her story because then her story would lose it's charm. In fact, plot is entirely optional, but again, if the writer has an idea and runs with it I'm happy.
If the story has a plot, I'd like to request that the Doctor not be the one that solves it -- let him be laid up the entire time recovering. I would love to see a "The Companions team up to save the day!", particularly if it ends up being Brian doing the saving...
I am in desperate need for a whumpy piece to get me through writing the Legacy ;)
