Firstly, I've been neglecting the comm lately - I thought with all that goes on in the mad months of November and December, a Prompt of the Month was unnecessary. However, the comm is open for business as usual, and there are a wonderfully tempting selection of prompts from all eras still awaiting adoption.
Anyway, I also planned to kick off another discussion. You can probably tell how delayed it is from the topic - but it's one that's a perennial with Doctor Who, not an annual.
Basically, Scary stories. Because Doctor Who is supposed to be scary (isn't it?). Would you like to see some more creepy fanfic? Or have you got a yen for horror tropes in the show? Is there any typical horror sub-genre the Holmes-Hinchcliffe era forgot to use? Tell us about it here.
Or you do you prefer your fanfic to be fluffy? Would you like creepiness/horror inverted and proved to be butterflies and kittens and flowers underneath?
What do people think? What fic ideas have you been toying with? Discuss here! (Or I'll set the as-yet unclaimed zombie bees after you.)
The now-traditional random pairing prompts under the cut. (And I did have the dedication to look through it for the prompts rather than the characters, yes. Well, all right, I was that bored...)
( There was a dark dark random pairing prompt... )
