Plot bunnies, I haz dem!

Shiny new comm! *squee*

I'll have to go through my hibernating plot bunnies properly, but here's a few to start. (I recently added "improbable fanfiction" to my Interests list; I think you can see why!)

Username: [livejournal.com profile] curuchamion
Era (if any): Third Doctor/NCIS crossover
Characters/Pairings (if any): Three, UNIT personnel, Green Werewolf Person/People; Dr Donald "Ducky" Mallard from NCIS

Plot Bunny Summary: Young!Ducky (well, late thirties, since it's 1970) runs across an escaped Green Werewolf Person from "Inferno", or someone infected by one of the werewolf people, and winds up working with UNIT and Three to cure him/her/it. (I'm assuming Ducky and Three together could cure it, because they are both just that awesome.)

Props if you can throw in a little-girl version of Dr Janet Fraiser from Stargate SG-1, somewhere.

Any Other Notes: The world needs more Three-and-Ducky fic, period, and I will gladly squee over anything at all of that description. This bunny is actually part of a backstory for a "Ducky and Janet save Stargate Command from turning into green werewolf people" fic I'm working on - but as I'm not really going to write this part of it, just allude to it, I'd be thrilled if anyone else wanted to.)

Era (if any): Third Doctor, Tenth Doctor
Characters/Pairings (if any): Ten, refers to Jo
Plot Bunny Summary: This is just an odd angsty bit where Ten shows up at/after Jo's funeral and apologizes for being so brusque and offhand with her sometimes as Three. No idea where it might go.
Any Other Notes: What I've got on this was written well before "The End of Time", but it'd fit well there, from what I've heard. (No, I haven't yet seen EoT.) I think it'd be better off with someone who can actually write angst.

Era (if any): Third Doctor
Characters/Pairings (if any): Three, Jo, "other characters"

Plot Bunny Summary: *deep breath* Three and Jo are captured by renegade Orc slave-traders on an alien planet and thrown into a nasty prison cell after the Orc-leader's slimy comments about Jo (which the TARDIS considerately didn't translate for her) provoke Three into a loud shouting-match in Black Speech. Then Jo eventually asks if what they were talking was Time Lord language, because she couldn't understand it, and Three winds up saying "sweet dreams, Josephine Grant" in Gallifreyan for her as she falls asleep cuddled up against him. (At least, that's what he says he said... ;-)

Any Other Notes: Yup. Fluff. I get a bit flustered trying to actually write things like this, but the bunnies won't leave me alone. Any takers?

Era (if any): Tenth Doctor ⇒ Eleventh Doctor, Second Doctor
Characters/Pairings (if any): Ten, Zoe Heriot

Plot Bunny Summary: Ten somehow winds up being helped with/through regeneration by a grown-up Zoe Heriot, who has done something awesome with her life even without her memories of the Doctor.

Any Other Notes: Um, this is because Wendy Padbury became a theatrical agent and helped Matt Smith get his first acting job. I totally want to read anything that somehow acknowledges that in Whoniverse form, as Eleven's debt to Zoe.

(Also - Zoe and Jamie deserve "being awesome anyway" fic just as much as Donna does. There is not enough of that.)

Username: [livejournal.com profile] curuchamion
Era (if any): Third Doctor, Stargate SG-1 crossover
Characters/Pairings (if any): Third Doctor; Jack O'Neill, Sam Carter, Daniel Jackson, and Teal'c from Stargate SG-1
Plot Bunny Summary: SG-1 have been turned into little kids on an alien planet - again (this is a common occurrence in fanon) - and Three discovers them. What happens after that is up to you.
Any Other Notes: Um... yeah. I can't actually write kidfic. But Three with kid!SG-1 would be so utterly awesome.

Does anyone but me actually read both these genres? o.O

So... I know I have lots more, but I think that's enough to start with. Happy bunny-hunting! *g*

These are intriguing - I can't really write kidfic either (the muse-kids tend to just stare at me with big eyes and not talk) but I'd love to read it. And I like the Three defending Jo one very much, though I just wrote a fluff for them I might tuck a variation on the theme away in the back cupboard for later poking and prodding at. :-D

I'd do the SG-1 one, except I don't know the first thing about Three. I'd be interested in how that would play out, though.

this is because Wendy Padbury became a theatrical agent and helped Matt Smith get his first acting job

That's right up there with Janet Fielding being Paul McGann's agent. O.o

Ah, yes, former companions casting the Whoniverse, one by one. Or something... ;-)

Wendy Padbury had the chance of doing the same thing for David Tennant. On the second commentary track of The Five Doctors special edition, DT says when he started out he was ringing round actors' agents and found himself speaking to WP. When he realised who she was he apparently went straight into fanboy "You played Zoë!" mode. "Never heard back from them," he adds.

Wikipedia says WP has also represented Colin Baker, Nicholas Courtney and Mark Strickson.

Wow, it's a plotbunny epidemic! :-)

And you're not alone in wanting 'strange' crossover fics. I'm no use, having never really watched either SG1 or NCIS at all, but I love a really good crossover. If you haven't already seen these, I have links to Stargate crossovers here and I think there's one ncis story I found, too. (I am a sort of insane person who wants to catalogue the internet or something.)

I like your idea of Zoe and Jamie awesomeness, because they are, especially Zoe. :-)

I decided to do the SG-1/Doctor Who crossover, substituting Nine for Three. I hope you like it!

In a startling revelation that will surprise absolutely nobody, I wrote the Zoë one.

I know it's been forever, but I did update my Nine/SG-1 team fic: A Matter of Perspective, Part 2 (http://moon-blitz.livejournal.com/43147.html)

Many apologies for the time in-between updates. I swear Part 3 will come quicker that Part 2 did.
