And it's time for the new random monthly prompt from the depths of this comm:

Rules of the challenge
Fics can be as short or as long as you like. Please post wherever you wish but link back to this post via the comments (if short enough and you want, comment!fic is fine).

Bonus points for including as much of the original prompt as possible, but this is a free-for-all, so there is plenty of room for interpretation (e.g. same prompt, but variation of character etc.)

The challenge closes on Sunday 2nd January 2011.
