After sighing and deciding that life itself was hardly worthwhile on finding that there had been no reaction to my poll, I then realised that I had to click the ticky box myself to see... and lo! There were people and opinions, and all was right with the world.
Catch up for all prompts won out, so for the month of January only all the previous monthly prompts are live again! Go wild! (And especially note that September, November and December had no entries. NaNo, Yuletide and the like were keeping us busy - maybe now is the time?)
August:
juliet316: There was a lot she didn't tell her Companions about regeneration, this was one not even she expected to happen. Or was it he now?. AU where a Doctor who has always been a woman, suddenly ends up regenerated into a male body.
September: Either
pedanther: The Anubis Gates: Irving Braxiatel wants a copy of William Ashbless's memoirs for posterity - which entails going back, tracking Ashbless down, and persuading him to write them. OR
moon_blitz: While heading back to the 21st Century, The (Simm) Master picks up an unexpected traveler (The Editor, from The Long Game).
October:
lost_spook: Doctor Who/ Star Trek: Voyager crossover with the Doctor and Janeway going head to head over his refusal to use the TARDIS for transporting the crew home and / or her cavalier attitude to time travel (Courtesy of a comment thread on the Crossover Discussion post.)
November:
pitry: Zombee Apocalypse. i.e, the Apocalypse, brought by zombie bees. Or just the general mayhem you expect when you're attacked by zombie bees. Nuff said. (Original plotbunny here Original request expressed a preference for Ten and Donna, because of the bees, but any era welcome).
December:
curuchamion: The Doctor and the Brigadier go car shopping (Original details here The full request was for Three and the Brig Bessie-shopping, but as ever for Prompt of the Month, interpret as you choose! Any Doctor, any Brigadier, any car/vehicle...)
Rules of the challenge
Fics can be as short or as long as you like. Please post wherever you wish but link back to this post via the comments (if short enough and you want, comment!fic is fine).
Bonus points for including as much of the original prompt as possible, but this is a free-for-all, so there is plenty of room for interpretation (e.g. same prompt, but variation of character etc.)
The catch up challenge closes on Sunday 30th January 2011.
I will post a reminder before then.
