Prompt of the Month #3: October Challenge

October's Prompt of the Month is as follows:

lost_spook: Doctor Who/ Star Trek: Voyager crossover with the Doctor and Janeway going head to head over his refusal to use the TARDIS for transporting the crew home and / or her cavalier attitude to time travel (Courtesy of a comment thread on the Crossover Discussion post.)
Rules of the challenge
Fics can be as short or as long as you like. Please post wherever you wish but link back to this post via the comments (if short enough and you want, comment!fic is fine).
Bonus points for including as much of the original prompt as possible, but this is a free-for-all, so there is plenty of room for interpretation (e.g. same prompt, but variation of character etc.
As it is my prompt this month - the selection is completely random, I promise!! - I'll happily widen it out to DW/any Star Trek tackling both series's attitudes to time travel in any way, shape or form).
The challenge closes on Sunday 31st October.
I will post a reminder before then.

Date: 2010-10-22 10:50 pm (UTC)I'm afraid I've lost most points, though - the Trek is DS9, the character is Sisko, and, erm, the Doctor tries to be confrontational over other people's attitude about time travel, but fails.

Now, given that I've never seen an episode, except that one with the tribbles, of DS9, do I risk reading this or not? Temptation awaits me in the linky link above...

Date: 2010-10-31 10:06 pm (UTC)I don't know what's the most ridiculous thing - that I wrote my own prompt, nearly missed my own deadline, and in fact didn't even really meet the original prompt anyway, but it was entertaining... *rolls eyes*
