Era (if any): Um, did they ever say for certain which Doctor first met Vastra? If they did, that one.

Plot Bunny Summary: how Vastra and Jenny met and learned to trust each other and fell in glorious lesbian interspecies love and hunted down a bunch of serial killers and had awesome shenanigans. There have been some really good Vastra/Jenny fics so far, but I haven't yet seen anything that takes a look at what must have been a long and slow process of bonding and trust-building.
Any Other Notes: Please, please someone write this. I can't do dialogue without more than an episode's worth of lines to get into their voices, or I would be on this like burning.

I want the second one SO BADLY. I am tempted to write it myself, though I don't trust myself on the historical accuracy...

As for the first... I've been dabbling with a bunny wherein the Corsair is actually an offshoot of Three. A split off like Handy was from Ten. Possibly something with the High Council exiling the Doctor and then saving some aspect of him to do their dirty work...

Or, to go in a completely different direction, something to do with the Mara.

Ah yes, historical accuracy is a pain. But I believe in you! (Caveat: I believe in anything that gets me Vastra/Jenny.)

And oooh, I really like that offshoot idea! Especially since it gets at the hypocrisy of the Time Lords, which is like one of my favorite themes ever. Do it! Do it!

OOOOOOH!!! I don't know, but that just reminds me of the AU idea I had once wherein Three is some kind of imposter / replacement CIA agent sent to Earth to get the Brig's trust by impersonating the Doctor for some reason I can't recall. Somehow it seems like I ought to save this thought (for when I actually see SFnarg+1, er) and make it dovetail somehow.

Just noticed this when looking through the February round-up. "A Touch of Strange" (http://lyricwrites.livejournal.com/12301.html#cutid1) is just a double drabble, but it is a Jenny/Vastra first-meeting fic.

ETA: In case it wasn't clear, the fic wasn't written for the prompt (it was a stocking stuffer). I just thought that someone looking for Jenny/Vastra fic might like it.
