I've had these bunnies hopping around in my head for a while now, but I have so much other fic to write I don't have time to do these babies justice. So I hope some of you fine folks might adopt them!

This has been kicking around my brain for a while, but it only just coalesced into something postable.

Okay. The Master's Academy nickname, in quasi-official fanon somewhere, is "Koschei". This was snaffled by a tie-in author from a Russian folk character, long version of bunny under here )

Short version of bunny? The Master = Koschei the Deathless. Crispy!Master = feral!insane!Koschei, who I think was enslaved by the Baba Yaga (for seven years?) at some point.

MASSIVE points for using Baba Yaga in any way, shape or form. Doubly massive points for working in other odd little details of the Koschei legend. ALL THE POINTS EVER for anyone having a chicken-legged TARDIS.

Era (if any): Classic Who (although really it could be any at all, I suppose!)
Characters/Pairings (if any): Third Doctor, UNIT (or anyone, really.)
Plot Bunny Summary: There's a Yeti on the loo in Tooting Bec
Any Other Notes: Maybe it's just me, but I can't remember seeing this in fic form anywhere as yet. Jon Pertwee's eternal example of how UNIT worked, for those who haven't heard it before. There ought to be crackfic. It seems polite for it to be Three, but as long as we find out why a giant, hairy robotic creature was sitting on the loo (and why in Tooting Bec), I am not particular which Doctor/characters. In fact, if everyone keeps finding a Yeti on the loo, it might be even funnier.

(Yes, I managed to listen to a bit of the commentary for Planet of the Spiders. There might be more.)

(Taking up our mod's invitation here to start a discussion topic if I felt like it...)

The subject of Katarina fic came up recently in Another Place. Thinking about it, I got curious, and did a Teaspoon search for her. You can count the results on the digits of both hands. Granted that her time on the show was brief and is now mostly lost, she still seems to be under-represented — particularly in this fandom, where the most obscure characters can find themselves the focus of multi-thousand word fanfics at the drop of a hat.

So, what Katarina stories could or should be written? Admittedly, there aren't a lot of gaps in her canonical timeline to insert long, plotty adventures, but that's nothing that can't be solved by a quick alternate universe or just sending a later Doctor or the Heart of Gold to retrieve her. What might she have made of the Last Chance Saloon, or the hottest night-spot in town? Or, taking the familiar high school AU, what clichéd high school is complete without its foreign exchange student?

And if all else fails, there's the Random Pairing Generator )

Era (if any): Classic
Characters/Pairings (if any): First Doctor, Vicki & either Steven or Ian and Barbara
Plot Bunny Summary: The True Story of St George and the Dragon as a Hartnell historical, or pseudo-historical.
Any Other Notes: I can see lots of fun to be had with this, but it does need to be Vicki, as what DW companion is more likely to enjoy meeting a dragon but the Doctor's fellow happy little arsonist who adopts sand beasts and so on? I am quite sure One would enjoy it tremendously, too. Whether they are accompanied by Ian and Barbara (probably being the knight and the princess if they don't watch out) or Steven is up to the adoptee. (Although there are very very few One, Vicki and Steven fics & they are a nice team.)
[identity profile] curuchamion.livejournal.com
...apparently I've never posted this one, although I keep meaning to.

It's quite short: Nirrti (a Stargate SG-1 villainess interested in genetic manipulation and with a really *koff* amazing fashion sense) is so totally the Rani, y/n?

(I'm clearing out my "bunny hutch" a bit.)
[identity profile] dbskyler.livejournal.com
First, a little background: I recently bought the TVM DVD, and one of the extras on it was Paul McGann's audition for the role of the Eighth Doctor. All well and good, except for the script he was reading from. It was bizarre, it was overwrought, and it was one of the most sublime pieces of crack!fic I have ever come across. Unfortunately, it is incomplete. All we have of this incredible piece of script madness are three short scenes.

So, here's my challenge to the comm: Can anyone take those scenes and make them into a coherent fic? Okay, forget coherent, semi-coherent will do. You don't have to use the actual dialogue, but if you can get in all the plot points mentioned in the dialogue, you win the challenge!

Username: dbskyler
Era (if any): Eighth Doctor
Characters/Pairings (if any): Eighth Doctor, unnamed Time Lord (possibly Borusa?), unnamed woman, the Master, Ulysses the raw-boned weathered farmer of Rassilon
Plot Bunny Summary: See script below
Any Other Notes: According to some sources, the Doctor's scene 1 conversation is with Borusa, but no name is mentioned in the script itself, so I will leave that up to you. If you make the Time Lord Borusa and also manage to make the fic work with "The Five Doctors," you win twice!

One very small bunny that I've been meaning to send away for a while now. I believe it's big enough to leave home...

1: Discworld crossover, ish. Every time I hear a Disc fan say something is "an abomination unto Nuggan", my brain insistently tries to make it "an abomination unto Duggan". Anyone want to do anything with that?

I did have another bunny, but I think I need to ask our mod a couple questions first. *goes to hunt for the page-a-mod post*

Sometimes I have what I'd call productive days of creativity, often during bus journeys or long walks. Today happens to be have been one of them, but since some of the Bunnies (others of which I'm keeping and you can't have them... yet. They're too fluffy and cute to give away.) are perhaps beyond my present means to write properly, I'm putting them down gentlely for you to consider adopting. Don't forget my former bunnies here, here and here... they do so want a warm screen to live on! Oh, and if you fancy pipping the post at a possible future community of mine, check out the Trinity Challenge for Doctor Who on my own Profile here!

Today the line-up sees a trio of bunnies, the latter two of which were conceived only this morn. Am I heartless to give them away so soon? Yes, probably. Nevermind.

Era (if any): Seventh Doctor or Bernice Summerfield Audios, Tenth/Eleventh Doctor (Sort of).
Characters/Pairings (if any): Bernice Summerfield and River Song. I leave you with the option of throwing in Seven, Ace, Ten, Eleven and Amy if you will, but only the top two are absolutely required. Benny Audio characters like Jason, Brax and the like can also be involved. River is probably in her Professor days but you can have her younger if you like.
Plot Bunny Summary: On a dig on an alien world in both the Twenty Seventh and Fifty First Centuries, Archaelogists extraordinary Benny Summerfield and River Song uncover a mysterious Time Rift, only to find themselves face to face with each other. After much amusing arguing and acusations of copying the two face a dangerous threat from the dawn of time (so the usual) using the time breach, Benny and River realise they have to work together.
Any Other Notes: Not much else to say - can't believe no body has brought these two together for a story (and I have looked) so now's the time for it!

Era (if any): Fifth Doctor
Characters/Pairings (if any): Nyssa of Traken and The Master (Ainley Version), possibly the (newly regenerated) Fifth Doctor, Tegan and Adric.
Plot Bunny Summary: AU Castrovalva: Nyssa is kidnapped by the Master instead of Adric, but something happens during the Master's TARDIS flight to Castrovalva causing a emergency landing and they are trapped together in a dangerous environment. Nyssa has the opportunity to face the man who took her father's life, caused her home planet's destruction and whose very appearance is a terrible reminder of that fact. Will she do something she might regret?
Any Other Notes: Im interested in this rather possibly darkish AU but I have never written for the Ainley Master before so I'm not that certain I could do this one justice, but love the concept - hope someone will be interested in this one!

Era (if any): None/Sherlock Holmes Crossover
Characters/Pairings (if any): Homes and Waston (Gen/Non-Shippy), a Dalek.
Plot Bunny Summary: Holmes and Waston get involved in a curious case involving a number of mysterious deaths... which leads them to an encounter with a stranded Dalek prepared to exterminate all of Old London town!
Any Other Notes: Bit free form this one... I know there are loads of Doctor Who/Sherlock Holmes crossovers (and most of them are awesome!) but nearly all have the Doctor in - I fancied seeing one where Holmes faces a danger of the Whoniverse alone, and I'd see to see how his keen mind deduces such a creature as a Dalek. It's up to you what version of Dalek this is - I'm personally seeing a Time War Gold version, not unlike in situation to the one from Dalek.

Happy Bunnying if you try one of these! :)

PS To [livejournal.com profile] lost_spook  - I may need Tags for Benny, possibly an Other: Bernice Summerfield Audios, Nyssa of Traken, Adric, the Master (Ainley), Daleks, Sherlock Holmes, Dr Waston and Fandom: Sherlock Holmes.

Era (if any): Second Doctor, Seventh Doctor
Characters/Pairings (if any): Victoria Waterfield and Mel Bush Team-Up. Second and Seventh Doctors optional. (But it might be more interesting not to have the Doctors actually meet, or for the two to realise they're both Time Travellers.)
Plot Bunny Summary: Victoria and Mel get seperated from their Doctors on a vast futuristic space station, and team up together to foil a dangerous alien plot to destroy the station in their own style.
Any Other Notes:  Victoria and Mel seem to get some slack as 'Scream Queens' and decidedly unoriginal Companions, yet when well written they have become two of my favourite Companions in Who History, and I've always wanted to see them team up and save the day themselves. Petticoats and carrot juice at the ready, it's Waterfield and Bush to the rescue!

#2

Era (if any): Sixth Doctor, Tenth Doctor
Characters/Pairings (if any): Frobisher and Martha Jones Team-Up. Again it's optional for Six and Ten to appear or meet up, but in this case I'd be interested to see these two incarnations banter it out! Martha and Frobby should be the focus though. As another optional extra you could involve Josiah Dogbolter from the DWM comics (and an old enemy of Six and Frobs) in proceedings if you know the character well.
Plot Bunny Summary: Martha Jones gets thrown into a prison cell to find its occupied by a talking Penguin. The pair realise they're both friends of the Doctor and resolve to break out, becoming good friends on the way.
Any Other Notes:  Gathered from getting Martha Jones/Frobisher/Prison Cell on the Random Pairing Generator yonks ago, and it's just struck me as a great set of companions. Frobisher is certainly my favourite expanded universe companion after Evelyn and Charley and always deserves more pieces of the fiction pie.

Oh thank the Lord for this particular community. You have no idea how long these poor defenceless bunnies have been in my fictional garden shed for months, begging for a kind owner to give them a web page of their own. Come on little ones, show your stuff for the nice people...

Two to start, one very cracky and the other a full-on crossover. Have some more serious ideas to put up later.

Era (if any): Third Doctor Era
Characters/Pairings (if any): Three, Master, Brigadier and other Third Doctor Characters. For pairings possibly Liz/Brig? Or Master/Anyone? (It's his dream!)
Plot Bunny Summary: The Delgado Master falls asleep watching Hana Barbara Cartoon Wacky Races whilst imprisoned by UNIT and has a really weird dream where he's Dick Dasterly, and the other racers are all other Third Doctor era characters! Most are up to you but I clearly suggest Three as Professor Pat Pending in his Whomobile, the Brigadier in the Amry Surplus Special and the glammor gal of the highway must be Josephine Grant. What Muttley would be is entirely up to you - I'm gunning for a micro sized Ogron!
Any Other Notes:  Blame this on watching an array of Wacky Races Cartoons in the summer holidays whilst in my hotel room and a strange train of thought afterwards.

#2

Era (if any): Sarah Jane Adventures (Pre K9 leaving Sarah, possibly even Post School Reunion and Pre Invasion of the Bane!)
Characters/Pairings (if any): Wallace/Sarah Jane Romance. K9/Gromit Friendship. Slitheen and Feathers Mcdraw. Optional Preston.
Plot Bunny Summary: The ultimate canine heroes of K9 and Gromit (what do you mean, what about Scooby Doo?) join forces to save their world from a deadly plot by the giggling hunters of the galaxy! And is Feather Mcdraw, crime penguin extraordiniare really an intergalactic criminal?! By heck lads, this calls for a try of the Al-ie-o Matic! And could Sarah Jane Smith have found love with Wallace's brilliant mind and love of all things cheesy? Only one way to find out...
Any Other Notes:  Had this in my head for agesssssss but never the time to write it out - the very idea appealed to me, at its heart a great light-hearted crossover and an unlikely but surprisingly sweet and logical pairing between Sarah and Wallace. I really hope someone who's a fan of both shows could really do this bunny justice, it would mean the world to me! :D

Era (if any): Third Doctor
Characters/Pairings (if any): The Master (Delgado), Jane Austen
Plot Bunny Summary: The origins of this are complicated, but let's just say in one fic I gave the original Master this line, about Jane Austen. "I met her once you know. Charming female, but a little too perceptive..." Basically, the Master is posing as an 18th/early 19th C vicar in a small English vicar, and she blows his cover. I hoped to write it one day, but I'm pretty sure I never will, so...
Any Other Notes: I think that was long enough. Why should the Doctor be the only one to meet famous English authors?
[identity profile] curuchamion.livejournal.com
I should like to see Q (from Star Trek: TNG etc) meet the First Doctor. I suspect they could have some very... interesting interactions.

(This idea came from one of the chapter heads in [livejournal.com profile] lost_spook's recent Voyager piece, of all places.)

It's a funny thing, because ask anyone who's a fan of Classic Who, or the whole series, who's their favourite Doctor, and Patrick Troughton usually comes high up the list, but looking at the categories on Teaspoon, not only is Two the most under-represented Doctor in the BBC's archives, but also fic-wise. (One is next, then Six.) The one is probably related to the other, and, of course, somebody's got to be least, but maybe we could come to his rescue? Two is a rather marvellous Doctor, after all...

Any thoughts? Any Second Doctor era bunnies, or 'wishes' running about? (You can click on the character tag to see what ideas have already been left here).

(And while I'm around - there's still a day before the second Prompt of the Month #2 closes at the end of tomorrow. )

Edit I liked [livejournal.com profile] akashasheiress's suggestion for inspiration, a lot, so I went to the DW Random Pairing Generator for some completely random suggestions for whom Two should meet (I'm not throwing them out as ships, but as general prompts here):
Duplicate Tenth Doctor (a.k.a., Handy) / Second Doctor / 500 year diary
Second Doctor / Braxiatel / dreaming
Second Doctor / Ian Chesterton / ice
Romana I / Second Doctor / friends with benefits
Jack Harkness / Second Doctor / in the dark
Vincent van Gogh / Second Doctor / crossing over
Brigadier Winifred Bambera / Second Doctor / bad hair day
More random prompts here )

♥ the RPG.

There, does that help, or does it make things worse?

Era (if any): Classic Who
Characters/Pairings (if any): Second Doctor, Lady Peinforte, Nemesis
Plot Bunny Summary: In Silver Nemesis, Lady Peinforte and the Doctor have met before, and judging by her referring to him as still being a little man, Two seems the most likely candidate: so Two misfiring Nemesis into space while being pursued by Lady Peinforte and distracted by Roundheads and Cavaliers – sounds like fic begging to be written to me. (Also, the Doctor getting his sums wrong also sounds very Two-like. Probably Jamie interrupted at the wrong moment, wanting a sandwich.) Just my WIP list is a wee bit long at the moment.
Any Other Notes: I suppose watching Silver Nemesis is required, but personally, I don’t see that as a drawback!

Title: Till We Meet Again (Don’t Make It Anytime Soon
Word Count: 2237
Rating: All ages
Characters/Pairings: Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, Doris Lethbridge-Stewart, Liz Shaw, Fiona Lethbridge-Stewart, Third Doctor
Plot Bunny donor: [livejournal.com profile] primsong HERE.
Summary: There are three women in the Brigadier's office. This may be the most improbable thing that ever happened on UNIT grounds... or not.

This is a large assortment of very cracky bunnies...

Handy and the Valeyard )

Eleven vs the Care Bears )

And the rest of these are from a meme I did a while back - one of those where you answer questions of the form "If [number] and [number] did such and such..." I just took it literally. (Thus there are bits of these bunnies that aren't strictly mine, but I'm only posting the ones I added a good bit to.)

Queen Rose and Her Doctors )

The Multi-Doctor Talent Contest )

Two Doctors and a Scot Go Shopping )

The Doctor Keeps a Shop )

Timey Wimey Time War )

Peaceful Co-operation )

And - for now - that's all, folks!

Era (if any): Any, or all
Characters/Pairings (if any): The Doctor / multiple
Plot Bunny Summary: Change one letter: A Time Lord has thirteen wives.
Any Other Notes: I had the idea after reading [livejournal.com profile] lost_spook's recent story where the Brigadier finds himself in the same room as three of his love interests. I wondered if the Doctor didn't see anything unusual in this because multiple concurrent marriages were routine for Time Lords. Except that being who he is, the Doctor would then make a mess of the whole thing by marrying non-Time Lords and end up with some horribly complicated love triskaidecagon.
[identity profile] curuchamion.livejournal.com
I have a whole lot of plot bunnies collected, but I haven't time to post them all tonight. However, this one is long enough to warrant its own post anyway.

Era (if any): Fourth Doctor/Narnia crossover
Characters/Pairings (if any): Fourth Doctor; Puddleglum, Aslan
Plot Bunny Summary: Where did Marsh-Wiggles come from? Gallifrey!

Any Other Notes: This is because Tom Baker played Puddleglum on the BBC's "Chronicles of Narnia" miniseries in 1990. When I started watching Who, I was quite boggled by this fact, and began trying to dream up an explanation. This fic fragment is the result - except I've got no idea what happens after the point I've gotten to!

I've a shred of a bunny that I don't think I'm quite up to tackling, now up for adoption:

During Three's era, the Brig's ladies end up meeting one another - Fiona, Doris and optionally (depending on your personal slant) Liz. Possible Brig whumpage situation that brings them together in a hospital, or something more benign like a tea invitation sent out by someone who just wants to stir up some trouble for him and his job, poor fellow. Enjoy!

Era (if any): Classic Who, Cross-over with Life on Mars
Characters/Pairings (if any): Gene Hunt, The Brigadier
Plot Bunny Summary: It sort of came up on a meme and then lost_spook begged me to either write it myself or put it up for adoption. That would be, Gene Hunt and the Brigadier meet up, somehow, wackiness ensues. This could be especially fun if you brought Three into it, investigating a time anomaly, or Torchwood, or whatever, this bunny is vague and walking into walls.
Any Other Notes: With no access to Ashes to Ashes I don't feel particularly confident in writing it myself, even though that probably shouldn't matter.
